I know I missed posting yesterday - but following Nicole's lead, I will post 2 today!!
Lucy woke up extra early yesterday morning. When I picked her up to put her back in bed, she was burning up! We had heard her coughing a couple of times in the night, but nothing else seemed to be going on.
On Saturday morning, we debated whether or not to take her to the doctor. Of course, I have felt a little paranoid about my kids getting H1N1. We did end up getting the vaccine - we finally decided that we couldn't keep ourselves holed up in our house all winter long. If my kids were over all healthier kids, we wouldn't have done it. The fact of the matter is that my kids seem to get sick very easily. I was totally stressing myself out every time we needed to go somewhere.
Anyway, Kevin - who was gone for awhile in the morning - ended up getting home in time to take Lucy to the doctor. I really didn't want to take all 3 to the germ infested doctor's office. Lucy, thankfully, doesn't have H1N1, but she has walking pneumonia. She is on an antibiotic and will hopefully be on the mend soon. You can tell just by looking at her that she feels miserable. What boggles my mind is that she was totally fine on Friday and then woke up really sick on Saturday. Strange.

Poor Lucy! Sorry to hear she is sick. Let me know if you need anything. Praying for health for your family!
Oh No!! That happened to Chase once. I almost didn't even take him to the Dr. that day, then suddenly the doctor says, "he has pneumonia." Made me feel like a horrible parent.
Praying that she'll feel better soon.
Oh no! Poor Lucy! Hope she feels better soon!
Jack got both shots too . . . for the same reason. I was afraid of leaving the house with him!
