Hair Bows

Obviously with 3 girls we have an outrageous number of hair bows. They (along with headbands, rubberbands, and various clips) have taken over a drawer in the girls dresser. I can't ever seem to find the bows I am looking for!! I have seen several different ideas to store these bows. This is the one I decided to make.

Here is what it looked like before we added the bows:

And here is what it looks like now:

As you can see, though, we are completely out of room for new bows!! I bought a board that was 14 inches by 20 inches and assumed we would have atleast one ribbon length to add bows to as we buy them. Of course, Kevin thinks this means we don't need anymore bows! I think I will just have to make one for Daphne's room!!

Such a great idea! What did you use as the board?

Thanks, Sarah! I used an art canvas as the board. It was a super easy project!

The board of bows is a great idea and will make a colorful wall hanging to brighten up any room. I think you will probably need one for each girl. I love the new picture of the girls in their patriotic clothes.

So cute Heather! I love that you did it by yourself instead of buying one (which I fell in the trap of doing!) Have you seen the initials one? That's what Tehya has - it's a painted "T" with 2 larger width ribbons hanging down from it to put the bows on. (After I bought it, I was thinking how easy it would have been to make!!) Anyway, hope you guys are doing well! Ryan has been gone A LOT, so we're hanging in there...

How cute, Heather! Morgan needs one of those! By the way, could you email me your new email address again? When our computer died, my email addresses all went away. :( Thanks!
